While the Rheem modulating gas furnace is a highly sophisticated heating product, the concept behind it is quite simple. 

A conventional furnace is either "off" or "on" at 100% capacity. Thus the temperature in your home goes up and down, varying as much as five degrees while the furnace cycles on and off. The Rheem modulating gas furnace is seldom "off" and seldom "on" at 100%. This means that the temperature swings that you have lived with for all of these years are eliminated.

In fact, the Rheem modulating gas furnace can maintain air temperature all over the home to within one-half a degree of the thermostat setting. Optional remote sensors can analyze the temperature at up to six different locations in the home to ensure even heat with no cold spots. And your Rheem modulating furnace is so quiet, you may never know it's on.

The Rheem modulating gas furnace is also one of the most energy efficient units ever made.
